The Paw Print is a student newspaper published by the newspaper class, while the Tiger Cry yearbook is a student annual published by the yearbook class at Dripping Springs High School. MyDSHS.com and its social media accounts bring the best stories and content from all student media classes, additionally including broadcast, photography, and principles of journalism classes, together into one place for the community.

These outlets are established as an open forum intended for free expression and exchange of ideas between students, staff, and the community. Their purpose is to provide an opportunity for student education through their production, while also informing the readers on school, local, national, and global issues. The staff members strive for journalistic integrity while learning through the publication process.

We are always interested in hearing from our readers.  Please feel free to contact us to share your opinions, ideas, etc. Comments on web posts will be monitored and approved per staff standards, which includes the First Amendment as the guide to discerning offensive speech or unprotected speech.
