PRE-REQUISITES: Application, Interview. First year staff members will follow editorial leadership in producing the yearbook to be delivered in the spring. Students will learn the purpose and parts of a yearbook, advanced skills in production such as using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and business related skills like marketing, sales, and customer service. The objective is to produce a quality yearbook that is accurate, unique, and desired by the consumer base.

This class is made up of first year staff and editors that work together to produce the monthly newspaper, distributed locally. The staff act as reporters, writers, designers, and photographers in order to create the paper and update its complementary web site

myDSHSnews is managed by the student media team at Dripping Springs High School. Content is curated by students in Journalism, Photography, Paw Print Newspaper and Tiger Cry Yearbook. Go Tigers!
