2020 Tiger Cry Yearbook “The G.O.A.T.” Honored by Publisher for Excellence

The 2020 Tiger Cry yearbook “The G.O.A.T.” is featured in Balfour’s 35th edition of The Yearbook Yearbook – a showcase of exceptional work in theme development, design and photography from publications across the U.S. and overseas. Yearbooks published by Balfour for the 2019-20 school year were evaluated in one or more of the following areas: theme development, layout design, photo technique, secondary packages and cover design. Balfour honors fewer than 5 percent of yearbook staffs with this distinction.

The 2021 Yearbook Yearbook is available online here.

“To be featured in The Yearbook Yearbook is indicative of the staff’s commitment to excellence, work ethic and creativity,” Balfour’s Yearbooks Team said.

The current staff editors, junior Isabella Roske and sophomore Lauren Caffrey, will be presented with a banner that they can display permanently in the staff room in honor of the 2020 Tiger team that produced “The G.O.A.T”.

The cover and a spread designed by graduate Cole Ary were singled out in the publication. In past years, specific spreads and photography by Tigers have been honored with inclusion.

“Congratulations for creating a book that both captures the history of the school year and the unique stories of your students,” Mark Goshgarianm General Manager of Publishing and Digital Assets said. “Your inclusion in the 35th edition of The Yearbook Yearbook allows your outstanding work to serve as inspiration for staffs across the nation.”
