The campus helped send off the competitors traveling to the 5A state championship wrestling tournament in Cypress, TX at the Berry Center. Following in the foot steps of graduate Chase Warden who won back-to-back state titles in 2019 and 2020, the Tigers hope to push deeper individually in their respective classes. The wrestling season kept being pushed back and delayed this year due to the pandemic. Ultimately, it was the last sport that the UIL gave the green light to complete an abbreviated season.

Junior Alyson Brownson-Welch won the regional title and will have a bye the first round of the tournament in the 128 lbs. class before facing the winner between Riley Deckert of Frisco Wakeland and Abigial Mitchell of Bryan Rudder. The tournament is double elimination for all competitors.
Freshman Alec Rill also won the regional title and will have a bye before facing the winner of Alex Diaz of Amarillo and Samual Hills of Princeton in the 170 lbs. division.
For the 120 lbs. division, freshman Hagen Shipley will start off against Steven Smith of Carrollton Creekview.
Senior Cody Barron faces David Kline out of Princeton in 138 lbs.
In 152 lbs., veteran senior JJ Guerrero will face Andrew Czelusta of Vernon.
Senior Daniel Mayes in the 160 lbs. class will face Corey Solis from Lucas Lovejoy.
In 182 lbs., senior Luke Norton sees Troy Joseph of Huntsville first.
Junior Grant Clarno faces Deonte Davis out of Dallas Kimball in 220 lbs.
In 285 lbs., senior Christian Prehar faces Koby Camacho of El Paso.
