Tomorrow, the choir program will host Bistro Night from 4-6 p.m. with a live stream broadcast of their Broadway and musical theatre revue taking place at the high school courtyard. An online silent auction will accompany the event with proceeds benefiting the Dripping Springs Choir Booster, who support the goals and students of the choir program by offering student scholarships and contributing to special trips, events, and performances.
“This year, Bistro Night will be a laid-back, safe, and socially distanced event with individually-packaged desserts, and complimentary coffee, tea, and water,” choir director Courtney Neva Aguilar said. “This is the students’ FIRST in-person, live performance of the 2020-2021 school year.”
The silent auction will close during Bistro Night, and winners for each item will be announced live.
“The live auction will occur throughout the Bistro Night performance, but eager bidders can choose the ‘Buy Now’ option on these Live Auction items and beat others to the punch,” Neva Aguilar said. “The proceeds from this auction and the Bistro Night event will go to improving the choir program and providing scholarships for seniors and future scholarships for deserving students taking voice lessons or attending choir camps and workshops.”
You can check back at your item until Saturday evening.
“If you do not see any items you are interested in, you are also welcome to make a donation to the DS Choir Boosters,” choir member sophomore Harley Hunt said. “Any amount helps.”
