Boys Soccer State Potential

The 2019-2020 Boys Varsity Soccer team is back and looking to do big things this season. Coach Josh Hill and his team is 7-3 in the early stages of this year’s season and the three losses were all within at least two points and many of their wins blowouts. The Tiger soccer team is ranked 52nd in state and looks like a possible state contender.

Member of the team Chase Menjivar said, “Our varsity has great potential to go past round three of the playoffs.”

The team recently beat rival Marble Falls and Bowie in a blowout, winning 7-1, and they’re looking to do more as the season moves on towards district. The boys team is looking to if they can keep up their season, and see if they can compete with the previous season, in which they only had four losses. We will also see if they can compete in the playoffs stage of the season and possibly bring home the hardware.
