Winter Percussion competed at the Texas Color Guard Circuit State Championships in College Station, earning second place. Texas A&M’s Reed Arena hosted a field of 28 performing units in the Scholatic A classification with the Tigers seeded 15th going into the contest. An 8-person judging panel awarded the group with a score of 89.68, which was able to hold for the remainder of the contest and land them in second place behind Sandra Day O’Connor High School.
Colorguard competed at the Winter Guard International Championships in Dayton, OH, earning a bronze medal. In a class of 50 teams from around the nation, through prelims, semi-finals and finals the Varsity Winterguard gave three performances to earn a score of 96.1 for third place overall.
