  1. The Class of 2020 fall fundraiser will be held at Schlotzsky’s today. Eat at Schlotzky’s, say that your dining with the Class of 2020, and they will receive a portion of the profits.
  2. Football Tickets are on sale for our final home game at Tiger Stadium. It is Senior Night for football players, cheerleaders and hi-steppers and also senior walk after the game. Come on out to support the Tiger football team and the Class of 2019 seniors for this momentous, unforgettable occasion…and Seniors, tell your parents not to forget the Kleenex. Tickets will be on sale now thru Thursday, or get ’em at the gate and stand in that loooooonnnnngggg line and pay more money.
  3. DSISD Community Services offers the classroom portion of Driver Education. Classes are held in Rm E306. The next session will be Nov 5 – Dec 10. To sign up for a class or for more information go to the DSISD Community Services webpage to register or flyers are available at the Counselors office and the front office.
  4. The Creative Writing program will be hosting the year’s first Meraki Mic Night on Tuesday Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. in the high school library. This will be an evening of young writers reading aloud their own poetry and short stories. Sign up using the QR code or sign up at the door. Snacks and other refreshments will be provided and admission is free. See Coach Crain for more information.
  5. The end of the term is Nov. 2. Please remember to turn in all attendance notes to clear truancies. They cannot accept any notes after Nov. 6.
  6. The early order deadline to purchase the yearbook is TODAY. Supplies are limited so order your yearbook NOW at Balfour.com to guarantee a copy. The price will go up from just $75 to $85 Nov. 1
