Junior Staci Turner is the first student from the new floral design program to earn her Level One certification with the Texas State Florists’ Association. Turner passed a timed knowledge-based exam as well as a hands-on exam where she made a boutonniere and a symmetrical triangle arrangement alongside hundreds of other students from all over Central Texas. With this certification in her portfolio, Turner can now test for a Level Two certification on her way to becoming a Certified Floral Designer with the American Institute of Floral Design.
