3. The JV cheer team has two open mascot positions for a Tabby the Tiger and Toby the Tiger. Tryouts are May 3 4:30-5:00 p.m. in the B gym. For more information please visit Coach Puls in room 1.213 in the inner loop, and there are packets available at the front office.
4.Do you want to win some cash? The DSHS Leadership Team is putting on a contest with a gift card prize! Select any problem in the world that you feel passionate about, and submit a creative interpretation of your solution! The submission deadline has been extended through to Monday, April 23 at NOON. Check your school email and look for the subject line “Leadership Project,” or see posters in the hallways for more information and the submission form.
5. The Powder Puff Deadline had been extended to Friday, April 13. Sign up and pay for the team. Turn in the form to Mrs. Gowens in the front office.
6. Youth and Government will have a meeting before school on Wednesday, April 18. Elections are a priority. Current members can check the Youth and Government Google Classroom for the election instructions and the nomination form. Anyone who is interested in joining Y&G for next year is encouraged to come as well.
7.The Hi-Steppers will be presenting their end of year spring show “A Dance Team Experience” celebrating 30 years of Hi-Stepper History on April 20 at 7 pm and April 21 at 2 & 7 pm in DSHS Auditorium
