FFA qualifies 3 evaluation teams for state

The FFA Livestock Evaluation, Dairy Cattle Evaluation and Homesite Evaluation teams all qualified for their respective State competitions next week by placing in the top 5 at Area contests. HOSA advances student to internationals, earns scholarship at state

This past weekend, HOSA competed at the state level. Emily Argento-Bird advanced to internationals in the Outstanding HOSA Chapter event and also received a $1500 scholarship. Choirs earn first division ratings, sweepstakes at UIL Concert & Sightreading

Three choirs participated in the UIL Concert and Sightreading event at the Hays Performing Arts Center on Tuesday.  Treble Choir, Chamber Choir and Concert Choir  all received straight first division ratings for their stage performance.  Two of the choirs, Chamber Choir and Treble Choir, also received first division ratings in Sightreading and brought home the sweepstakes trophy.
