Matt Hemphill set region records in bench, squat, and total pounds, earning a 1st place finish in his division and leading the powerlifting team to a 2nd place overall finish.

Juan Rios also placed 1st in his class and Ivan Venegas finished 2nd to qualify for the state meet in Abilene.

Additionally contributing to the team’s point total were Juan Venegas who finished 6th and Jack Dombrowski who finished 7th.
