  1. Student council is hosting a dodgeball tournament, open to students of all grades. Admission is $60 per team, and each team can have up to six people. The deadline to register is March 23, and the tournament is April 7. If you have any questions, talk to Mr. Lemmings.
  2. Special Olympics is looking for students interested in taking part in, Unified Champions, a new class next year. The class will be open to students with and without disabilities working together to participate in school-wide awareness projects as well as to participate in sports together, both during class and during Special Olympics competitions. Fill out an application, as space is limited. This is a unique opportunity to be a leader in creating more social inclusion opportunities in our school and community. See Ms. Hawkins in room 1.205 if you have any questions.
  3. Pick up your March MyDSHS newspaper by the library, attendance office or outside B210. Or you can read it at mydshs.com or on your Issuu app. Stories by you, for you. Plus a Thundercloud coupon!
  4. National Art Honor Society’s next meeting will be Wednesday, March 21th, in Mr. Bates room. We hope to see you there!
  5. Attention Seniors. Are you interested in becoming a firefighter after you graduate? Travis County EMT / Fire Academy is hosting Combine Test Dates on March 10, April 7 and 14, May 5 and 12. Visit Lauren Milner in A208 for more details.
