10 student pieces qualify for state Visual Arts Scholastic Event

Last Saturday, the fine arts students traveled to San Marcos High School to participate in the area and regional Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE). The students submitted and defended their art pieces to judging.

A total of 43 pieces earned medals of excellence – each scoring a 4 out of 4 – and 10 pieces qualified for state, including those from the following students:

Claudia Telloy
Emily Dart (2 pieces)
Jacob Pederson (2 pieces)
