1. BOOK DRIVE! Bring books to the high school or any elementary school from Feb 14 to March 7. You will receive 1 service hour for every 5 books you donate and all books will be donated to Book Spring.
  2. If you are interested in auditioning for Dazzlers or Hi-Steppers, please pick up an audition packet from the front office, Mrs. Neef, or Mrs. Williams in E304 ( dance room)
  3. Meet in Mr. Mercer’s Class room from 4th period to after school to participate in a scene for a Gothic English project. The scene will be part of a short film adapting one of Edgar Allen Poe’s works:The Masque of the Red Death. There will be refreshments(various Food and Drink) available during the shooting of the scene and after the scene. Student and faculty that participate are encouraged to wear nice clothes and/or costumes and masks.
  4. On March 5th, from 4:15 – 5:15, JROTC will be hosting a meeting and lesson on leadership in room A208. The JROTC club is a student led organization for students interested in learning about the military. There is still time to join this club.   5. Ever wanted to throw dodgeballs at your fellow classmates? Here is your opportunity, because the DS student council is hosting a dodgeball tournament, open to students of all grades. Admission is $60 per team, and each team can have up to six people. The deadline to register is March 23, and the tournament itself is on April 7th. If you have any questions, talk to Mr. Lemonds.
