6 choir Soloists, 1 ensemble qualify for State

Sethre-Brink elected DECA VP for Outreach

Junior Lily Sethre-Brink was just elected to one of six state officer positions for DECA. She is the Texas DECA VP for Outreach and will work throughout the state over the next 12 months in this role. She was elected among the 4,000 participants at the State Career Development Conference and will represent the 16,000+ students that comprise DECA in Texas. 2 qualify for DECA internationals

Two of the 17 state conference qualifiers in DECA advanced to international competition after this past weekend’s success in Dallas, representing the school for the first time at the top level. Today at noon, students walked out of their classrooms to stand outside the school by the flagpole.
