1.  Seniors, if you haven’t yet picked up your Official Class of 2018 Senior Retreat T-shirt, even if you are unable to attend the retreat, please visit the Counseling Office to get your shirt.
  2. The Dripping Springs High School Dating Violence Awareness Board will be hosting a Self Defense class in the B Gym on Saturday, October 21 from 9-11 a.m. We encourage all students, staff, and family members to come and learn some helpful defense tactics. Tickets are $5 pre-sale and $10 at the door. See Mrs. Watts in room D.115 for tickets and more information.
  3. The cheerleaders will be selling pink cupcakes and pink lemonade this Friday in support of Breast Cancer awareness and research. Each will be $1 and will be on sale during both A and B lunches in front of the Tiger Shack.
  4. The National Honor Society is collecting medical supplies for Kits for Kids, an organization that works to bring basic medical supplies to those in need. Supplies needed: toothbrushes, bar soap, triple antibiotic ointment, travel size facial tissues, combs, hand sanitizer, nail clippers, elastic bandages, tweezers, kid scissors, and safety pins. Items can be turned in to Mrs. Balderrama in B201 during tutorials. You will receive one service hour per three items donated.
  5. Dripping Springs High School has a fishing club. If you are interested in joining, contact (512) 350-0829 or the Twitter account @DSHSFishing. They will be going to professional fishing tournaments and more exciting events. Sign up today.
  6. Anyone interested in joining the UIL Number Sense team needs to meet Thursday morning at 8:30 in D 133. If you cannot make it then, go by D 133 on Thursday or Friday to find out what you missed.
