1. Firefighter and EMT Exploring Open House is Sept 21 at 7 p.m. at the Fire Station on Sportsplex Drive. Exploring is an opportunity for high school students to gain valuable hands on experience working with firefighters and EMTs. Earn volunteer hours, scholarship opportunities, leadership experience, and more. For more information contact Mrs. Milner in A208.
  2. Do you enjoy strategy games? Do you enjoy using your mind to defeat opponents? You can do so at The Chess & War Club!!! The Chess & War Club will be holding its first meeting on Thursday the 28 of September at Mr. Adams room C.202 in the afternoon from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.
  3. Celebrate your club or team’s seniors in the back of the 2018 Tiger Cry yearbook. This year, along with senior ads, the yearbook staff is selling space to clubs or teams wanting to highlight the contributions of its seniors. Purchase all ads and space at smart-pay.com no later than this Friday, Sept. 22.
  4. Picture day is next Tuesday, Sept. 26 and Wednesday, Sept. 27. You’ll need to bring your order form with payment to the photographer when you take your picture. Order forms are at the front office and with your English teachers. You can also order online using the code on the order form. You do not have to purchase pictures but must take your photo with your English class at the B gym. ACC English students can go before school either day. If absent one or both of the days, you can make up your photo during retakes Nov. 7. Seniors must sign up for their pictures in the counselors office, making a specific appointment with PhotoTexas on campus. If you do not make any of these picture days, it is your responsibility to schedule an appointment to take your picture at the PhotoTexas studio on your own.
