The Student Council hosted and student body and community driven relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey raised over $12,000 and collected three large trailers-full of supplies (hundreds of boxes of diapers, wipes, trash bags, toiletries, water, gloves, etc). Teachers brought classes to help sort supplies on Friday.

Cross Country raised $1,500 last weekend at their home meet. National Honor Society provided numerous student volunteers throughout the week, PALS provided student volunteers for Thursday’s coin collection, Ag provided the trailers and truck, and band provided trailers

Additionally, an unnamed girl organized a lemonade stand in her neighborhood last weekend and collected over $230.
