This past Friday, the high school had seven participants at the Texas Relays at The University of Texas.
Senior Sydney Cole broke her own school record in the 1600m run with a time of 5:12.82.
The sprint medley relay (200, 200, 400, 800) team of Reese Johnson (200m – 22.7sec), Parker Alford (200m – 23.6sec), Bryce Kalsu (400m – 50.1sec), and Zack Kovar (800 – 1:59) broke a 20-year-old school record by 8 seconds with a time of 3:36.46.  Kalsu and Kovar were also on last year’s 4×800 team that broke a school record at the Texas Relays.
Junior Hannah Biggs (100 hurdles) ran a personal best 15.00 seconds and junior Justin Wright (110 hurdles) ran a personal best 15.26 seconds.
Both varsity and JV track will compete at the Dripping Springs hosted District Championship next Tuesday and Wednesday, April 11 and 12.
