During the months of October and November, the Dating Violence Advocacy Board will be collecting supplies for HCWC, Hays-Calwell Women’s Center. HCWC is a non-profit organization offering free, counseling and advocacy services to victims. Victims include men, women, and children of family violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and child abuse who reside within the Hays County and Caldwell County area.
The Challenge:
DVAAB will be collecting supplies (child diapers, undergarments (children, men, and women underwear, undershirts, etc.) and the winners will win a pizza party at the end of November.
“Domestic violence thrives when we are silent; but if we take a stand and work together, we can end domestic violence. Throughout October- November, help DVAAB raise awareness about domestic violence and join in our efforts to end violence.”
