Boys lacrosse starts off strong

The Dripping Springs High School Tiger Lacrosse season is underway and off to a tremendous start!  The Tigers faced off against the Cedar Ridge Raiders this past Saturday in Round Rock.  Tiger fans will be thrilled to know that DSHS soundly defeated the Raiders 12-4 in the varsity game and JV won 12-5.  Varsity highlights:  Having the game of his career thus far, Tanner Heinchon had a hat trick, scoring three goals, and went 10 for 12 on face-offs.  Offensive play was swift and sure with additional goals scored by numerous Tigers including Geoffrey Tyler, Connor Jamail, Riley Pakes, Shane Lyons, Cameron Howorth, Seiler Hess, and Gabe Reno.  Defense was lead by goalie Tri Hays who had 7 saves.  Other notable defenders were Reid McClintic and Nate Henze.  The Tigers host their first home game this Wednesday February 10th at 7:30 p.m.  Come out to support your Tiger Lacrosse Team!
